Pond View Lodge (Second room at additional cost)

Thank you for your interest in staying here. We are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our staff and guests by using CDC approved sanitizers exclusively and we are disinfecting all door handles, switches, remotes, cabinets, appliances etc. Your room is self check-in with private (key code) entrance, full kitchen and full bathroom. We are on the property in case you need anything. We allow up to two pets for a fee of $75. The pet fee will be doubled for any pets that are not added to the guest list, so please be kind and let us know if you are bringing a pet:) All amenities are open and operational at this time. _____________RATES_________________ 2 night minimum weekends, Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun. Room rate listed on the calendar is for one bedroom with maximum of 2 guests, so inform us if you require use of the locked second bedroom and a $30 fee per person per night will be added. __________THE GROUNDS______________ Secluded setting with numerous ponds, canoe, a floating dock, nature trails, picnic area with a fire pit, shelter & grill (hickory wood provided), stone & cedar gazebo, wood fired lunar sauna, cool dip pool, frisbee golf course, makings of a organic vegetable farm. Delicious well water from the tap. _____SHARED SPACES IN THE ZEN BARN_____ Massage room, sky lounge and meditation room in barn accessible to all guests. Complimentary land line phone available for unlimited local & long distance calling in the communal kitchen. _____SHARED SPACES IN THE CASTLE_____ Green house lounge in the Castle accessible to all guests. Poplar wood from our property is used in our guest closets. *All guest rooms in the Zen Barn have split AC/Heating with inverter technology. *All our energy efficient windows & doors use thermal shades or curtains. *We provide organic, fair-trade and locally roasted coffee with a french press. *We provide organic teas & fair trade sugar for our guests. *Our Mulberry farm follows all organic practices. *We use an Energy Star ‘HE’ Washing Machine and Dryer. We prefer to use clothes lines on sunny day & when we can work around our visiting guests. *All our laundry is washed with Eco-Friendly detergent (HE), made in USA. *All hand soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner provided are made of bio-degradable ingredients, paraben free, SLS free, no animal ingredients or testing & no artificial fragrances. *We compost our coffee grounds for our garden. *We provide eco dishwashing liquid, which contains no petrol chemicals and is 100% biodegradable. We use Green Works toilet cleaner & Seventh Generation Dishwasher Gel. *We provide 100% recycled paper napkins & 40% recycled toilet tissue. __________Pet Policy__________ We allow pets in Pond View Lodge for a fee of $75/pet . _________NEARBY ATTRACTIONS_________ We recommend you take the time to explore some of our many local attractions like Skyline Drive, check website hikingupward for hiking suggestions, Luray Caverns, Noon Whistle Pottery, Fabio's Italian Eatery, Mission Home Bake Shop & numerous antique galleries in Ruckersville, just to name a few. Close proximity to 30 vineyards along the Monticello Wine Trail. 6 Presidential homes including Monticello, Montpelier & Ashlawn. Guest have access to common areas like lunar sauna, ponds on the map, stone gazebo, nature walk, lounges, frisbee golf course, meditation room & massage room. Guests are to observe all posted signage. Do not enter areas signed "Private”. Do not explore areas not listed in the pictures as there are other guests and residents on the property. We would like to meet our guests during their stay and request that you give us a call after you are checked into your room from the land line provided in the communal kitchen in the barn. Secluded setting for a relaxed experience surrounded by woods, birds, bunnies & nature/rural sounds. We recommend arriving here in a car as there is no convenient public transit/transportation to get to nearby attractions or to airports, train stations & bus stations. Kindly note there is no good cell reception here and we recommend that you read up on all directions, check in information before arrival or print if necessary. You may not be able to access information on your cell phone on the grounds/parking on arrival.
