This is a great place to get away. it's remote and beautiful. The people we met were friendly,and the whole compound has a unique aesthetic. Great vibes. The only issue was some damage on the floor from a water leak, but David and the staff had proactively communicated the issue and took steps to mitigate the effects. My wife and I plan on returning in the fall. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Lotus Eco Spa Retreat for the 2nd time in 5 years and we’ll definitely be back! The grounds are beautiful with lots to experience. The glade cottage was cozy and clean. We drove all the way from Charlotte to experience a retreat in nature that was well worth the journey.

My husband and I stayed for a few days as a little getaway. Our stay was just after a large snow storm in January so some amenities were unavailable, understandably. But the team did everything in their power to make us comfortable and well accommodated. A special thanks is warrented to their grounds keeper Kip who went above and beyond cleaning out our frozen over fire pit for us. Thank you David, for providing us a lovely, relaxing weekend.

Had an absolutely amazing time! The cottage was small and cute, in a private setting away from most everything but convenient to many places. Clean, stocked, and ready to stay with no hassle. Had a small issue and host was quickly responsive and offered assistance which was declined. Enjoyed a nice massage at the spa with Tim. Incredible experience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet time away from the normal day to day. Especially if you love nature and all the beauty it has to offer.

It s a unique place for sure and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would have made it better would be more signage and an updated map. We had a difficult time finding the Glade cottage and had to ask where to find the hot tub.

The room looks exactly as pictured and has everything you need, including cooking utensils, a hair dryer, and bath towels. We loved the big lot and the firepit with its stunning view. The place is very private and peaceful but not too remote. David is very responsive and responds to feedback. There were no bug issues. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up extending our stay!

Welcome to our newly renovated, secluded Cozy Cottage. 20 minutes from the Shenandoah National Park. and 10 minutes from our quaint little town of Stanardsville. Cozy Cottage also shares the 25 acres with the White Lotus Eco Spa Retreat and the numerous amenities that it has to offer. We allow up to two pets for a fee of $75. The pet fee will be doubled for any pets that are not added to the guest list, so please be kind and let us know if you are bringing a pet:) Our secluded cottage has an open bedroom with a retro-style full bathroom and a modern kitchen, as well as a small sitting room. It also has a wrap-around deck with a view of its surrounding wooded glade. Cozy Cottage guests have access to the numerous amenities that all other White Lotus guests enjoy. Amenities include, among other things, a wood fired sauna (available 24/7), meditation room, massage room ($80 per hour), outdoor fireplace, pond (with canoe and paddle boat), 9-basket frisbee golf course, cedar and stone gazebo, 26 acres of wooded space to explore, and all the stars you could ever hope to see (any clear). Great place for a quite romantic getaway!
