Balcony Suite at White Lotus Eco Spa Retreat

It’s my favorite place to escape the city and breathe.

I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and my this place blew my expectations out of the water. We had a very relaxing stay, from the decorations to the amenities every thing was perfect. I especially enjoyed the sauna. Do yourself a favor a book a stay here!

Away from the city noise. Unique surroundings. Great community of people. Wonderful friendly cats. Well put together and organized. Great place to get away and relax.

The room was charming and secluded. Having a kitchen in the suite is a great addition. The bathtub is one of the best features of the room!

Beautiful, some furniture and amenities are different than pictured. The first night there was a significant marijuana odor leading to poor sleep with my partner and me; however, other than that, our stay was amazing. The permanent resident, Nelson, is kind and very knowledgeable, a fine gentleman if you will. He showed us around the Green Zen Barn and was very welcoming. The king-size bed and couch were very cozy and clean; however, the jacuzzi/tub feature was inoperative; it did not work at all, even after filling the tub up before turning on. The window and other parts of the shower and bathroom were noticeably dirty, as was the hot tub, but it is a castle after all. What made this stay one of a kind and a place my partner and I will revisit is undoubtedly the people at the location; the warmth we felt from the awesome heaters and warm welcomes, along with the very welcoming guests and clear instructions, made this stay a very pleasant time. We give this Airbnb location a 3.77/5.

This was our fourth time here. It is an excellent place to stay if you want access to Shenandoah but aren’t up for all out camping. Love the big tub after a day of hiking.

Staying here was so nice. So easy to check in. Was not bothered ever. Had freedom to walk around the entire property and was completely peaceful.

Thiis was our third time booking. We enjoyed it again. We had a very nice stay at White Lotus as we could hike alot and come back to relax. it was simply great!

Booked this place last minute for a spur-of-the-moment solo trip to reset my brain, and it was perfect. Super quiet and relaxing. I didn’t get a chance to explore the grounds because of the weather, but I’ll definitely be back again!

I had three main issues, listed below, with number one being a potential danger that was dismissed by the owner, David, and initially rejected by the property manager, Keith, stating that he was unaware of and it took over an hour of communication to get him to apologize. Nothing was offered to right these wrongs, which makes me reluctant to visit again (which i was plannjng on doing in just a few weeks with a group of friends) Below is the text is sent the property manager, with the onlu solution being offered was "oh the breakee for the jacuzzi tub was tripped. Sorry". "Okay, thanks for the response. This is Jordan in the Balcony Suite - I'm actually checking out and loading up my car now. A few things to improve on constructively: 1) The main Balcony door has a small pin that can lock it from the inside - It needs to be tightened or a washer put behind to prevent it from locking. I was locked on the balcony in my bedroom slippers for two hours last night; after shouting and hollering to wake anyone nearby up for an hour and trying to call both you and David multiple times, I called the sheriff's office for assistance. The deputy actually was the one who discovered the pin in the door after several minutes of troubleshooting with me because we were both bewildered (painted over and almost impossible to see). 2) The heat pump in the split system barely works - I had it cranked to max heat (89°F) and it could only heat the room up 59°F overnight and 62°F as I check out. 3) The jets in the bathtub jacuzzi don't work :( Thank you,"
